The Canary Wharf Squash Classic
A spectacular event featuring the world's top squash players at London’s most amazing venue, the East Wintergarden at Canary Wharf. The Canary Wharf Squash Classic started in 2004 as an 8-man invitational event and progressed to a five-star PSA tournament from 2006 to the current day.
It is viewed by many as the event that sets the bench mark for other squash events, and is one of the favourites for players & spectators alike.
As well as being a 5-Star event on the PSA World Tour it also features the finals of the Canary Wharf & Squash Mile Corporate Competition and numerous junior & development clinics.
The World Squash Awards
Inaugurated in 2005, Eventis created the World Squash Awards to give everyone involved with the game a chance to share in a celebration of the sport. The World Squash Awards is the games recognized Awards ceremony and both the PSA and WSA nominate and distribute their accolades at the yearly event.
Alongside the Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year (male & female) there are the prestigious Services to Squash and Lifetime Achievement Awards. Most notable winners in the past have been Jahangir Khan, Jonah Barrington, Nicol David, Amr Shabana and the great Heather McKay.
Eventis EXHIBITION Matches
Eventis has organised numerous exhibition evenings and has a stable of players who are available for bespoke exhibition matches to fit a full range of budgets.
These can be arranged at clubs with as little as one court with no glass-back, and are sure to entertain members and guests.
The English Open
The English Open was the first squash event ever to be held in Sheffield's famous Crucible Theatre, in August 2003.
The intimate venue proved a tremendous setting for the all-glass court, and provided spectacular squash for the audience and TV viewers, with the 2006 event going out on Sunday Grandstand.
After four years at The Crucible, the event moved to the English Institute of Sport Sheffield due to The Crucible's renovation for the 2007 event, with a return to the Crucible hoped in the near future.
The Sunshine Masters
The Sunshine Masters was introduced in 2007 as fun masters event for individuals & players accompanied by families. Featuring categories for all age-groups from over 35 upwards, the first two years were in the south of France in Aix and Antibes, respectively.
Although not have been run for a number of year's plans are in the pipeline to rejuvenate this fun event. Anyone interested should contact sm@eventis-sports.com for more details.
The BSPA
Although the BSPA (British Squash Professionals Association) is not actually an Eventis entity it is run under the stewardship of Eventis director Tim Garner. Set up in 1993 the BSPA looks after the interest of the British Squash Professionals.
The cornerstone of this has been the UK Grand Prix which culminates in the UK Grand Prix Finals. This summer has also seen the introduction of the BSPA Elite Series & Finals.
